![]() She both overcame great fear and instilled it in her enemies, earning herself a Yellow Lantern Ring. When members of the Sinestro Corps sought to steal the station's supplies and convert it into their base, Cruz fought them without a Ring. Cruz lived on the station alone and powerless for over a year, as she learned to use the station's communications systems, allowing her to guard the Sector as a watcher and advisor. Yes, that just happened. When the Green Lantern Corps fell, Jessica Cruz found herself stranded on a Lantern station in Sector 123. Meanwhile, the war between the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps would seem to be over for the time being, and even if the alliance has been shattered, peace between the two Corps still could prevail. ![]() In the days after the battle, Tomar-Tu chooses to stand trial and face punishment as a civilian rather than a Lantern, but in exchange, John Stewart grants his request that his replacement come from his home planet of Xudar. Claiming John was never sincere about the alliance, she left Mogo with the entire Sinestro Corps in tow. Needless to say, Soranik wasn’t pleased with this little twist.
